It just occurred to me:
In the past year, among my Wiccan friends, a couple moved to North Carolina, another friend moved to South Carolina, another is moving to Texas.
Among my gaming friends, one has moved to Philadelphia. Another is moving to Seattle. A couple are moving to Minnesota.
It’s my deodorant, isn’t it?
Today I learned that Yin Au, an engineer worked at Nevis Labs for 30 years, passed away at the age of 96.
Today I learned that Emily, whom I’ve known for about 15 years (give or take) is heading to the hospital to give birth.
Obviously people are entering and leaving this world all the time. It’s just not often that I hear of both on the same day!
I wish both of these voyagers a smooth transition as they enter into a new phase of their existence.
I’m going through some personal stuff right now, which is why the title of this post is "Transitions 3"; the other two are private in LiveJournal. Once before, I was going through a hard time and I saw a performance that lifted my spirits. It’s happened again.
